Man does the medical world have a lot to explore, tubes, wires, and monitors, oh my! I had the pleasure of jumping into this world feet first for the Dickies "Hero" campaign. Handling both props and wardrobe for a dozen talent and even one very life like babydoll.
IKEA w/ the OWN Network
Its common place to walk into IKEA and walk out with more then you went in for, but its exceptional when thats your job. I got to work with IKEA and the OWN Network to create staged environments to compliment each of the four featured stories from the IKEA Home Makeover series. We customized each set to the needs, lifestyles and interests of the individuals and families, swapping out furniture pieces, accessories and tailoring the scale of the set to the group size. It was such a fun crew to spend a few days with, telling hopeful and grateful stories.
AGAVE DENIM
We spent the day inside one of the many architectural treasures of Los Angeles, the American Cement Building. Its difficult to beat unexpected and forward thinking architecture with a view, while busily creating an entire living space of furniture, homewares, art, bikes and surfboards, to set the stage for the Agave Denim man.
"Busy Day"
This was such a fun project and production to be a part of. Ayse Altinok conceived an abstract, colorful and heavy prop infused video for the music collective Pigeon Horse Sex Tennis's song "Busy Day". For me, this was an exciting challenge to be resourceful and creative regarding sourcing, modifying and building the array of playful props that were on set for this shoot, only which a portion of made it into the final cut. Here are details of a handful of the pieces I created for this whimsical meeting of minds and music.
CoachEm App
I exercised my eye for playful clutter, that finds its way into many families homes, as children's activities fill your adult world. Calendars, award announcements, brackets, sticky notes, athletic gear etc represent the chaos cleared away by this app in a serene living room.
Deadpool - teaser
I got to build 20+ buildings, as well as urban accessories with up cycled and dollar store materials. The intention was to create a dark city scape from the limited perspective and capabilities of an adult with child-like skills and interests. This was a prop to be featured in a teaser, as if built by Deadpool himself at home.
Pop Physique
I have had a great and long standing relationship with Los Angeles founded company, Pop Physique. Varied projects and installations have been created and collaborated on for several of their locations including Hollywood, Highland Park, Costa Mesa and Woodland Hills.
